Hello! My name is Andrew, and I am a photographer in Paris.
 

Originally, I am a designer-artist, having graduated from LSACA and HSADA with a major in graphic design. I worked as a designer for four years, participating in exhibitions of contemporary artists, international poster biennials, and collaborating with cultural organizations to create branding and posters.

Even during my student years, I had a hobby - photography, which helped me reinforce and develop my understanding of composition, color, and theory that I studied in the academy.

By the way, it's a normal phenomenon - many outstanding designers and artists combined their activities with photography. For example, the brilliant constructivist Alexander Rodchenko, Andy Warhol, or Salvador Dali. No, I don't consider myself their successor; they are too great. It's just that these guys inspired me to the maximum from my youth.

Back then, I couldn't afford an expensive DSLR, and I was more interested in the magic of film photography and techniques. Therefore, I shot exclusively on film.

Then came DSLRs, expensive optics. For a while, the designer and the photographer coexisted within me, but when it became physically impossible to combine them, I chose photography.

The choice of photography coincided with the period when I lived in Thailand. For 6 years, my girlfriend and I photographed tourists in a tropical style. It evolved into a business and a beloved occupation, and I finally gave up design.

I love photographing families, couples, creating personal shoots, and I want to combine this with the beauties of Paris, my new temporary home.
